A series of sculpture/tools exploring the endemic slug problem faced by horticulturists and agriculturalists in mild wet climates like FIELDCLUB. The devices employed progressively more complex technologies to perform the same task - to undertake and simultaneously quantify slug death.

As each device became more accomplished in its use of technics the user (the artist) became further removed from the action of the device. In the final version, the responsibility of killing the animal was given to a third party via remote control.
